Thomas Juzwiak is an American composer, educator, and euphonium performer whose career has been dedicated to music education and the development of young musicians. He earned both his Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music Performance degrees from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey), where he studied composition with renowned composer David Uber.

During a distinguished career spanning more than twenty-five years, Juzwiak served as a band director, marching band director, instrumental music teacher, and Fine Arts Supervisor in the New Jersey public school system. His work inspired countless students and ensembles while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music.

Following his retirement from public education in 2015, Juzwiak has devoted his time to composing, performing on euphonium, and teaching private lessons. His compositions reflect his extensive experience as both an educator and performer, combining practical knowledge of instrumental writing with expressive musical craftsmanship. His music is accessible, rewarding to perform, and written with a deep understanding of school, community, and concert ensembles.

Throughout his career, Juzwiak has received numerous honors for excellence in music education, including recognition in Who’s Who Among American Teachers and the East Windsor Regional School District’s Chief School Administrator’s Outstanding Performance Award. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME).

Thomas Juzwiak resides in Cranbury, New Jersey, with his wife, Lori, where he continues to compose and support music education through his publications and private teaching.
