studied trumpet, composition, conducting as well as Politics and Culture in his home country, as well as in Italy, Switzerland and France, where he lives since 2002. Among his teacher were Franco Cesarini, Felix Hauswirth, Jan Cober, Eugene Corporon and Tim Reynish.

He appears regularly as guest conductor, clinician and adjudicator in France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Holland and Slovenia.

Miguel Etchegoncelay teaches orchestral conducting at the Strasbourg’s Conservatory of Music and the Académie Superière de Musique de Strasbourg (HEAR), where he is in charge of the Wind Ensemble Program; he also conducts regularly, other projects such as Symphony Orchestra, Contemporary Ensemble, Stage Productions, Brass or Percussion Ensembles.
