Viskamol Chaiwanichsiri is Thai composer, conductor and music educator. He is the recipient of Young Thai Composer Commissions (Thailand Music and Arts Organization, 2020), Call for Score (Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music Youth Orchestra, 2018) and First Prize Winner of the Young Thai Artist Award (Siam Cement Group Foundation, 2016).
He has written for orchestra, chamber ensemble, wind ensemble and solo instrument. His music has been performed in Asia, America, and Europe including Sensei’s March (Prague, Czech by Suranaree Girls Wind Symphony); Scherzo (Croatia by Siam Saxophone Quartet); Chao Phraya March (United States by Thompson High School Wind Ensemble); Shadow (Strasbourg, France by Salaya Saxophone Ensemble), also by many renowned ensembles such as Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, Siam Sinfonietta, Mahidol Wind Orchestra, Ratwinit Bangkaeo Wind Symphony, Feroci Philharmonic Society, Tacet(i) Contemporary Ensemble, and international music festival such as World Association Of Marching Show Bands (WAMSB) World Championship, Thailand International Wind Symphony Competition, Thailand New Music and Arts Symposium, International Festival of Wind Orchestra Prague and World Saxophone Congress.
